Saving a View Saving the visible data in the project space preserves both the graph data and its 3D layout. A data view is saved on the server, making it available to any user of the project. Exporting a view as a GXRF file saves it on the local machine. Both are saved in GraphXR’s GXRF format. In the Project > Data tab you can export a single view, or all the project views at once. You might do this to maintain a local backup or offline archive of views. To save a data view: Either open the view menu or go to the Project > Views tab. Select Save to save data to the current view or Save As to enter a new view name and save the data as a different view. Entering a view name is optional. By default, a new view is named Untitled View. Click the pencil icon to the left of the view name to enter a new name. The view appears in the Views tab as a thumbnail tile or list item. It is highlighted with a lighter background color, indicating that it is the view that will be updated the next time you Save. The view menu is also updated. The asterisk disappears, indicating that the view is updated to the current state of the graph. If you save the data to an existing view, the view name stays the same. If you save the data as a new view the menu shows the new name. In the Views thumbnail previews or list, you can inspect, edit, and share saved views. You can now: Click the information icon to see details about the saved view, including Node count, Edge count, Date Created, and Date Modified, and to add Remarks. Click a view’s Share icon to share the view with specific internal or external users. Click the Edit icon next to the view name to rename the view. Click the Delete (trash can) icon to delete the view. This deletes that view (not the data currently present in the graph space).
